Nebula Has A New BFF In Avengers: Infinity War

It stands to reason that Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) are going to have a role to play in Avengers: Infinity War. Thus far they are the only one's who really know how dangerous Thanos (Josh Brolin) is and they are the only one's with personal stakes in this fight before Thanos lifts a finger against the Avengers. Nebula declared at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 that she is going to kill Thanos. Actress Karen Gillan was recently interviewed by Fandango (via Screen Rant and while she couldn't give much away she did provide an interesting new detail.

Avengers

"I know who her new BFF is, and I can't tell you. I can't. I promise you it's brilliant and unexpected and just so good… I don't know about any frenemies. She is on a clear mission, as everybody is, to deal with someone with a glove, and I think that is the most important issue. So I think people are grouping together to take care of this task."

Nebula has an ally and that is interesting. Thus far she has come across as a "one woman army" kind of person and had no desire to stay with the Guardians at the end of the movie. The fact that she is willing to work with someone says a lot about dangerous Thanos is. Nebula is always so serious and grim that putting her with pretty much anyone in the Marvel universe would be entertaining to watch.
