In 2006, hot on the heels of his 2005 Eisner win for Talent Deserving of Wider Recognition for his work on books like Sentinel and Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane, writer Sean Kelley McKeever was asked to pitch a Wonder Girl comic to DC. The series never came to fruition, though McKeever did sign an exclusive contract with DC the next year and went on to write Cassie in Teen Titans later.

Today on Twitter, McKeever shared details for the series that never was:

Does that sound like something you would have enjoyed? Well, too bad. You missed your chance.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
