How Much Of 'Avengers: Infinity War' Takes Place On Earth?

We've seen some footage and some concept art from Avengers: Infinity War, but we still don't know that much about the movie itself. We are probably still several months away from any other footage being released but there was a pressline at Comic-Con International and a few outlets were invited to interview some of the top Marvel talent. One of those outlets was Cinema Blend and they got the chance to talk to Joe Russo about the movie:

"A good amount. It's a lot of different narratives driving towards each other. A lot of different characters, so you have to tell a lot of story. And it's a good mix between space and Earth."

It's interesting that we're going to spend a decent amount of time on Earth. This very much sounds like previous team-up stories in that half of the story is putting all of the characters in the same space. Right now we have a lot of different groups running around for Infinity War and we know they all come together eventually but we don't know how just yet.

Avengers: Infinity War, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, and Anthony Mackie. It will be released on May 4th, 2018.
