This 'Bloodborne' Statue Looks To Be Every Hunter's Dream

bloodborne-statue-1

When Bloodborne came out for PS4 last year, I bought it, thinking that it would be nice to play a game that challenged me. Not because I am some amazing gamer or anything, but it looked cool and I was excited to play it because it looked tough. After playing it, I was pretty terrible at it. But, I fell in love with the style and story of the game so it was ok. And now, even though I will never be able to afford this, there is a statue that I can drool over. Sideshow has partnered with Prime 1 Studio to create a massive and detailed statue depicting The Hunter from the game.

Sideshow and Prime 1 Studio are proud to present The Hunter from Bloodborne: The Old Hunters. The Hunter is the player character and main protagonist of Bloodborne. The origins of the Hunter are determined by the players themselves, ranging from a middle-class upbringing; a troublesome childhood; a military background; a member of a noble family; or a talentless weakling among others. At some point in their life, the Hunter becomes afflicted with an unspecified disease and travels to Yharnam, an ancient city known for housing an old medical remedy which is said to cure any disease. Iosefka calls the Hunter "paleblood" and in one of her notes mentions the need to find a paleblood to "transcend the hunt."

The statue comes with interchangeable hands so he can hold all three main weapons from the start of the game: The Hunter Axe, Saw Cleaver, and Threaded Cane. He is also standing over the prone dead body of an enemy and the setting is from the city of Yharnam from the game. The statue retails for $800 and can be preordered now on Sideshow, where you can also flex pay it and spread the cost out. And you have some time as well, as it will not be shipping until late summer 2018.
