Last night’s Ring of Honor PPV, War of the Worlds, is in the history books, and a lot of exciting things happened at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Our new friend Frankie Kazarian, unfortunately, lost his grudge match against Hangman Page. Christopher Daniels, however, retained his ROH Championshop in a three way match against Cody Rhodes and Jay Lethal. The Young Bucks retained their ROH tag team titles, defeating Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI, and Marty Scurll retained his ROH TV Title, defeating Matt Sydal. But the result making the most headlines happened after Adam Cole’s match, in which he lost to NJPW star Hiroshi Tanahashi.

After the match, Bullet Club leader Kenny Omega appeared (via satellite) to announce a new Bullet Club member: Marty Scurll. But while some doors open, others close, and Cole, who is no longer under contract to Ring of Honor and could end up in another promotion, found himself ejected from the group in the most unceremonious fashion ever: via a double superkick from the Bucks!

Ouch!

So does Cole’s expulsion from the Bullet Club mean we could be seeing him in a WWE ring in the future? We’ll keep a close eye on the dirt sheets for any rumors.
