Goodness Gracious! New WWE PPV, Great Balls Of Fire, With First Brock Lesnar Title Defense Coming In July

It looks like WWE will be launching a brand new PPV this July, with Brock Lesnar defending his WWE Universal Title against an unnamed opponent. The American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX posted the following video to Twitter this morning:

The RAW-exclusive PPV, titled Great Balls of Fire, will shake your nerves and rattle your brain  on July 9, and the title defense is being announced Lesnar's first since winning it from Goldberg at Wrestlemania in the beginning of April. Traditionally, WWE's rules have required champions to defend a title every thirty days, but that policy doesn't seem to apply to Brock Lesnar, just like certain other WWE policies. No opponent was announced for the card, and no other matches have been announced at this time, though WWE does say name Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Samoa Joe, The Miz, and Alexa Bliss as featured superstars.

It was previously rumored that RAW's July PPV would be the return of Bad Blood, to take place in Hartford, CT, but it appears that WWE went with a different state and a brand new name. WWE Battleground, a Smackdown Live exclusive PPV, will follow later in July from Philadelphia.
