Phil Noto Revises His Civil War II #0 Kamala Khan Ms Marvel Cover Art In Reaction To Trump's Immigration Ban

Kamala Khan, Ms Marvel, is a Marvel Comics character created by Sana Amanat, G. Willow Wilson, Stephen Wacker, and Adrian Alphona.  After becoming the first Muslim character to headline her own Marvel comic in 2014, the character has gone on to critical and popular success, including Hugo, Shuster, Angoulême, and Eisner wins for the comic and its creators. Kamala Khan has also been a part of numerous other titles and storylines, including Civil War II.

Artist Phil Noto's cover variant for Civil War II #0 from May 2016 — also used as a promotional image for that series — was drawn to illustrate the rift developing between Kamala Khan and Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) in the story.  Noto tweeted a revised version of this artwork in support of the rising protests against President Donald Trump's immigration ban:
