New Friday The 13th Gameplay Trailer Reveals First Look At “Jason Lives” Jason, Teleportation Power

Gun Media released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming Friday the 13th game. The video shows the first look at Jason from Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives, who will be a playable character in the game. The video also shows Jason throwing knives, and, perhaps most excitingly, unveils a new teleportation power allowing Jason to always remain just a few steps behind fleeing camp counsellors, just like in the movies. In addition, the trailer shows off a new track from 80s punk band The Misfits, aptly named Friday the 13th, which will be included in the game.

Friday the 13th, which allows one player, playing as Jason Vorhees, to take on up to seven players playing as camp counselors, is expected to be released sometime early this year, though there is no official release date yet. A single player campaign will be released later in the year.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
