DC Super Hero Girls Get LEGO Sets

By Amanda Gurall

I have a very happy daughter tonight because I was able to show her the LEGO display of their new DC Super Hero Girls line from the floor of NYCC. Starting on November 27th your can purchase Harley Quinn to the rescue play set ($29.99), Batgirl's Batjet ($24.99) and the Super Heroes High School play set ($79.99) which includes Super Girl, Lena Luther, Poison Ivy and their vehicles.

You can look forward to adding Lashina and her Tank ($14.99), Bumblebee's Helicopter ($14.99) and the stand out Wonder Woman dorm room ($19.99) after January 1, 2017.

If these are as popular as the 12 inch dolls have been among 7-10 year old children we will need a bit of luck finding them in stores. LEGO has promised to continue to expand and to include characters like Mad Harriet and Katana so there will be lots of opportunity for open ended or world based play. This is exactly how my family will be spending our cold New York winter and I…I mean my daughter can't wait.
