Kara Danvers? Supergirl Rebirth Gets The Comic Closer To The TV Show (SPOILERS)

In  the comic books, Supergirl's Kryptonian name is Kara Zor-El. But her secret identity on Earth was Linda Danvers.

The Supergirl TV show has seen the character called Kara Danvers, raised by adoptive family Jeremiah and Eliza Danvers.

Supergirl Rebirth sees a mock-version of that. She works with the government who are keeping her alive and stable. And they are the ones creating her new identity… and bringing in government agents to be those same parents, Jeremiah and Eliza.

She is however, younger here than on the TV show, 16. She is still at school. She is called Kara Danvers. But thre is one big change which may help preserve that secret identity a little longer in comic book logic…
Image (8)…because as Kara Danvers, she's a brunette. Just as she used to be in the comic books as Linda Danvers.
