The Future Of The Babylon 5 Movie

We've talked a bit about J Michael Straczynski's presentation at his Spotlight panel at San Diego Comic-Con last weekend.

During the Q&A section of his panel, he was asked about the latest on his planned Babylon 5 movie.

He said that he plans to build up his reputation more , one or two more television shows or maybe a movie in production- we mentioned both Rising Stars and Midnight Nation in that regard – before he can start to ask for the nine-figure budget he'll need for such a project – right now he's only good for eight-figures, he believes.

This also all happened before the recently reported death of Babylon 5 actor Jerry Doyle.
