We Stand On Guard Leads Advance Reorders Against Young Terrorists
Greetings from the coal face of the direct comics market. Where retailers try to increase their orders of certain comics ahead of sale. Where supply and demand and most accurately reflected, where you can see which books are hot, where new orders are coming in and how retailers are reacting to new, unanticipated desire!
We Stand On Guard performed so well with its first issue that retailers are scrambling to up their orders of the second and reorder the first, pushing those advance reorders above all others, while new variant covers help give Batman Arkham Knight: Genesis and The Wicked + The Divine an extra push. But it's the launch of new Black Mask title Young Terrorists that is probably the most unusual performer as retailers start to realise that any Black Mask title is now pure publishing gold and there is a new launch on its way… especially with such a controversial title. Solid bumps for the return of Bitch Planet, the launch of Dark Corridor and This Damned Band and the seond issue of The Spire as well.
As for trades, the colection of Valiant's The Divinity is also clearly performing well.
