SDCC '15: DC Developing Programmes For New Writers And Artists

Dan DiDio and Jim Lee have been holding court on Sunday morning of San Diego Comic Con and had plenty to say.

When asked about Scott Snyder's note on his Batpanel the other day that he is working with new writers for DC Comics, Dan and Jim talked about Bobbie Chase, VP Talent Development working with Sarah Miller, tasked with gong out developing and maintaining new talent, with writing programs, with Mark Chiarello, Andy Kubert, Klaus Janson and Jim Lee working with mentoring new artists.

Jim said "The future is about bringing in new talent, keeping the creator pool fresh and vibrant". Scott Snyder will be bringing in his writing programme that he teaches to DC Comics, and they are looking as developing formal training programmes within DC…
