SDCAGFolks heading to San Diego for Comic-Con International next week may want to carve out a bit of time to go visit the San Diego Comics Art Gallery. The SDCAG’s inaugural exhibition features the work of Kevin Eastman, the co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and will include some of the earliest character sketches to his most recent cover work.

In celebration of the biggest week in pop culture, the SDCAG will hold an Open House with extended hours on Wednesday, July 8 (Preview Night) and will be open Monday, July 13 for those that want one more day of comics fun.

Wednesday, July 8: 10am-11pm
Thursday, July 9: 10am-6pm
Friday, July 10: 10am-6pm
Saturday, July 11: 10am-6pm

And for those who pre-order select IDW SDCC exclusives through their webstore by July 3rd can pick them up at SDCAG starting on July 8th through 13th.

The San Diego Comic Art Gallery is an entirely new kind of venture with a rotating gallery of original art, a retail space, the Eastman Studio (permanent display), an artist in residence studio and the IDW Library. For more details visit http://sdcomicartgallery.com/
