Making Good Restitution

Imagine yourself taking an ordinary all-inclusive vacation; drinking, enjoying the beach and having a great time when all of a sudden you find yourself thrown sixty years back in time with no friends, no family, and very limited forms of outdated technology. As dire as the situation may seem, you have the opportunity to meet some of the most impressive, intelligent people that ever lived as you struggle to find your way back to the future to be with the love of your life.

You're undoubtedly thinking, "Yeah right, time travel? Been there! Read that!"…But you definitely haven't! What ifthis time travel comic included real, iconic figures straight out of our history books – only unlike you've ever seen them before? In addition to the brilliant Albert Einstein (who has quite a sense of humor, by the way!), we delve into the fascinating mysteries revolving around the Bermuda Triangle, where countless myths and theories surround the disappearances of planes, boats, and even pirate ships. What really happened to those crafts that went missing? Still skeptical? Hey, it could happen! People vanish off the face of the Earth, never to be seen again, and there are several who have disappeared in the Triangle, so who's to say that they're not stuck in the past – or in the future, for that matter – and desperately trying to get back to here and now?

I recently launched a Kickstarter campaign for my original comic book series entitled Restitution. I won't tease you with the plot details here; you can check them out in my Kickstarter!

This comic book won't be like any other comic you've read; it's not about superheroes or people with powers – this book is about two regular guys who accidentally embark on the adventure of a lifetime and meet iconic figures from the past who help them piece their way back to the present. Along the way, they encounter countless obstacles and captivating characters who help them appreciate the past in order to find their way back home – if that is what they truly desire.

The series will be funny and allude to modern day and classic movies – so you've got to be quick and clever to catch all the clues and hidden messages that we've buried in the illustrations and dialogue! But don't worry; if you miss anything, we'll keep you on track with fun YouTube episodes released after every issue! As the characters travel in time, the panels will visibly change with the story plot, and our readers will get a feel for the era the story takes them to – as if they, themselves, have travelled to that period.

The first issue of the series, "Leaving", ends with one of the coolest reveals you can imagine! …But the fun doesn't stop there! We have 5 issues plotted out in their entirety. The fifth book, "The Present, the Past and the Future", will have an even bigger plot twist! The overall conclusion of the series is already planned out and is ultimately what makes this comic book unique! Don't panic though, we can still write any number of issues in between, depending on where the intricate plots take us. We're all set if this series takes off – and we know you're gonna love it!

We are currently in discussion with a publishing house; and although we cannot disclose which one right now, we know that they are very interested in the premise of the story and its direction!

If you're a hockey fan, we have great news! We are also requesting permission from the NHL to use the team's logos throughout the series. If you're not a sports fan, never fear! The series has nothing to do with sports. However, occasionally they do come into play. Haha…
