Toy Fair 2015: Hasbro Marvel Presentation and Exhibition; Build-A-Figures Get BIG

By Brian Goldberg

At 12:30 PM all forms of toy press formed a line outside of the Times Center in New York City to see what Hasbro has in store for their throngs of rabid collectors in the year to come. This was my first year covering this event and my expectations for what Hasbro might produce for their Marvel Legends toy line we definitely surpassed.

The Toy Fair related event started off with a presentation that covered many Hasbro Marvel products until SDCC later this year.

The waves announced:

Avengers Legends Wave 3 (now officially announced): Doctor Strange (modern), Blizzard (lost Legend), Marvel Now Iron Man, Thundra, Vision (totally new mold), Valkyrie, and Hulkbuster BAF. Noted about this line: The BAFs are big again. They now measure 8" tall.

Ant-man Legends Wave (now officially announced): Ant-Man (film version), Tiger Shark (lost Legend), Bulldozer (the final member of the Wrecking Crew released, lost Legend), Giant Man (Avengers Academy era comic version), Wasp (comic version), Grim Reaper and Ultron Prime BAF. Yup. Still big. The Grim Reaper features a new buck that Hasbro will be using for their Legends.

Then the exclusives were announced…

Target Marvel Legends 3 Pack: Hulk (modern Marc Bagley comic version), Vision (white version, West Coast Avengers era, and a movie Ultron.

Amazon.com Avengers: Age of Ultron 6" movie figure 4 Pack: Bruce Banner, Scarlet Witch, Thor, and Hawkeye.

My wallet is already hurting. Ouch. Thanks Hasbro!

I can't wait for these figures to hit the shelves!
