World Of WarCraft Community Raised $1.9 Million To Fight Ebola
Here is a nice story about the video game culture. Those can be a little tough to find at times, so we will take them where we can.
Blizzard have announced that the World of WarCraft community banded together to fight Ebola and provide relief in Africa by raising $1.9 million. To donate, players bought a cute little goat pet called Argi, which saw 100% of proceeds go to the Red Cross.
The drive ran from the beginning of December and recently came to a close. That is a lot of money to put together in such a short amount of time, so well done everyone who picked themselves up a pet goat and helped provide relief for those affected by Ebola.
