BOOM! Studios’ Bill & Ted’s Most Triumphant Return Will Rock Hard In March

Prepare yourself for the return of the most outstanding time-travelers of the 80s and 90s! From BOOM! Studios, comes Bill & Ted’s Most Triumphant Return, written by Brian Lynch (TMNT: Microseries, Angel: After the Fall, screenwriter of the Despicable Me spin-off feature film, Minions) with art by Jerry Gaylord (Fanboys Vs. Zombies). There will also be back-up stories in each issue, including a short by Ryan North (Adventure Time, The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl) and artist Ian McGinty (Bravest Warriors, Munchkin).

BOOM! Studios Editor-in-Chief Matt Gagnon spoke about the upcoming comic by saying:

Brian’s scripts are hilarious and Jerry’s art channels all the magic of Bill and Ted’s first excellent adventure. We couldn’t be happier! This series is going to rock as hard as the Wyld Stallyns.

The story is a follow up to Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey, and will focus on Bill and Ted’s need to fulfill their destiny as the inspiration for galactic harmony. They set their sights on turning a young 27th-century Nomolos’ non-non-heinous attitude into something most outstanding and metal! These characters are well known for getting into ridiculous mischief, which will guarantee an entertaining script. I think we will all be highly entertained and get a heavy dose of comedy from this title. It will be great to see them in this epic new adventure. There are some really colorful variant covers to look forward to pictured below.

Bill & Ted’s Most Triumphant Return #1 arrives in comic shops on March 11th. The cutoff date for retailers to order is February 16th.
