Sam Glanzman's U.S.S. Stevens Series From DC Comics To Be Collected By Dover Publishing

glanzman_ussstevensGolden Age comic book (and WWII) veteran Sam Glanzman turned 90 this past Friday. But that doesn't mean h's going to stop having new comic books published.

As well as Dover Press collecting his Marvel graphic novel series A Sailor's Story, along with a never published story, they are also to collect for the first time, a complete USS Stevens collection

Originally published in DC Comics' title Our Army At War, the stories are credited at bringing a new realism and veritas to that comic book series but have never seen publication since.
