After Twenty Years, Pat Broderick Returns To DC Comics

Pat_BroderickPat Broderick began working as a DC Comics penciller in the early seventies, straight out of high school, as well as working for Atlas and Marvel, including Captain Marvel and Micronauts. He co-created the Creature Commandos, launched The Fury Of Firestorm in 1982, Captain Atom and drew Batman Year Three as well as Swamp Thing and Green Lantern in the nineties, before returning to Marvel for Alpha Flight and Doom 2099.

Then the comic book market collapsed and in 1995 Broderick moved into advertising as lead of Tracy Locke's creative department, which also led to him working on the Jimmy Neutron movie.

But returning to comics was harder. Peacekeepers from Future Comics was cancelled. And a revival of Micronauts was cancelled three issues in. But yesterday, on Facebook, Broderick had an update.

Pat Broderick I'm back at DC comics after a twenty year separation.

Pat Broderick can't say yet, but after the script arrives in two weeks…I think there won't be a problem, But this is true, Dan Didio worked his magic and brought me home.. feel free, in fact, hit share and label it "Friends" and post,,please

Happy to sir! Could it be for the Blood Moon/Warworld/Convergence/Joe Kalicki?
