Welcome To Wolverine And The X-Men's Future – And His Alternate Present

In today's Ultimate Spider-Man, we flip forward a year in the life of Miles Morales.

If a year is a long time, how about twenty-five years? In today's Wolverine And The X-Men, we flip forward that length in the life of Logan. A few spoilers… but these seem to be intentional ones.

He still seems to be headmaster at the Jean Grey School. But lots and lots have changed. We also get a peek into what may be coming up in X-Men continuity…

Hang on, not so fast, let me take notes, a Hellfire Academy siege, Azazel is back and this time he's got pirates, The Black Order, Mondo, secret plans from Sabretooth, a new Brotherhood… of evil mutants? An Apocalypse crusade and… what is Jean dying again?

So who else is in this twenty-five year future?

Carmen Drake… is that a phasing Iceman? Warren's got a kid, so has Quentin, we have a Charlene Xavier, a Rose Logan, a Summer Grey… anything else?

A new Thunderbird and Phoenix, Captain China rather than Captain America, Juggernaut's Cyttorak lot get a church, Shark-Girl is now Shark_Woman and Eye Boy is all grown up.

And we may also see effects of Age Of Ultron on the continuity. Firstly, Wolverine now has a history for time travel problems…

And he's looking a lot older than his twenty-five years via a healing factor may suggest. So… what happened to his healing factor? Something during his time travel in Age Of Ultron that made him… killable?
