All-New X-Men Dominate The All-New Year On ComiXology

2013 has begun, and a look at the comixology charts shows that the world has continued on buying digital comics and showing what the world wants to read on their phones. It should come as no surprise that All New X-Men #5 was the big winner the world over this week, taking the top spot in Australia, Sweden, Norway, United States, Great Britain, Canada, Brazil, Philippines, France and Germany. Amazing Spiderman #700 remains in charge in Mexico and Italy, while the rest of the countries checking in, well, it's beautifully random, but let's hear it for Image with Invincible #99 taking charge in Spain (and being the only Image book to crack the top ten in America) and Fatale #11 coming in first in Russia, predictably Batman: Lil Gotham #4 was first in Japan, but India, Greece and China just dare you to figure out what's going on. In China, Blackest Night: JSA #1 wins it, Wolverine And the X-Men: Alpha & Omega #5 is the leader in India and Greece gets it's viking on with Northlanders #1.

As you scan the charts you'll notice that just because it's a new year doesn't mean The Walking Dead  trade paperback sales are slowing down as it remains a major player the world over. Batman Inc makes a strong showing, as does Teen Titans while Marvel's Iron Man and New Avengers pop up in plenty of spots too. We'll see what happens as the weeks continue, but one things for sure, Japan loves Lil Gotham.
