Avatar Steps Up Their New York Comic Con Exclusives

Exclusive. That sweet sweet word. The ability to say that you have something, and no one else does. Or at least your friends don't. Bragging rights, the self satisfaction of the comics collectors. Few understand. But Avatar Press clearly does.

This year, they are ramping up their Lady Death, Crossed and War Goddess offerings for the New York Comic Con.

You've got exclusive New York Comic Con covers for Stitched #1 (1000 copies), the Crossed Badlands Opening Salvo preview (5000 copies) for $1.99, and a 250 edition version for Avatar VIP ticket holders, the Crossed Vol 1 Hardcover Lettered Sketch Edition (26 copies with original sketch) $125, War Goddess #1 (250 copies) for $5.99 and a VIP edition and the Night Of The Living Dead Vol 1 Hardcover Lettered Sketch Edition (26 copies with original sketch) $125.

Including their exclusive-variant-every-day-and-a-special-one-if-you-buy-the-set of the Lady Death Annual, taking off a piece of clothing for each day.

Better not show any seven year old girls what Avatar doing with the star of that popular Saturday morning cartoon Lady Death And Friends, I suppose.
