Paul Levitz Sets Up In Artists' Alley At San Diego Comic Con

The line up San Diego Comic Con's Artists Alley, this year sponsored by deviantART, has been announced by the convention. And there's a surprise or two.

Artosts Alley is always a heady mix of the name creator taking commissions, newbies trying to push his latest thing, attempting to find an audience and old hands keeping the flame burning.

But this year, one of the creators, at table II-16 will be ex-DC President and Publisher, Paul Levitz, between Jordi Benet and Peter Kuper. Some will see this as a fall from grace. But to me it's the sign of a man getting to grips with the grassroots of comics, the envoronment that he emerged from. It's healthy and I'd like to see more of it.
