Criminals Are A Cowardly And Superstitious Lot

stolenStolen Comic is a new website that, surprisingly, isn't a pirate torrent collection, but a way to publicly report stolen comic books and to warn potential purchasers.

It was created after a theft of a CGC'd copy of Fantastic Four #49 and the victim's experience using message boards trying to recover it, (he did so after an attempted sale to a comic store.)

The site is expected to launch in a week. If you have suffered comics theft (and no smart asses, I don't mean wasted hours reading a comic you hate, or someone swiping from Hustler) then email the scans, photos or details with as many identifying features as you can here. And pop back to the website next week

You know what I'll be doing? Putting up the two pages of Alan Davis original Marvelman art I had grabbed from my hand. You never know…
