Star Wars Queen Amidala Enters a Throne Room with New Statue

Star Wars Queen Amidala was an interesting storyline in the prequel series. I personally loved Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and it is easily one of my favorite Star Wars films. I loved what George Lucas did to all these new characters and as derivative as it sounds all the politics of at all. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Phantom Menace we are greeted with a Queen Amidala statue that originally premiered at Comic-Con International this year. The statue since then has just opened up pre-orders in Sideshow Collectibles. The statue was designed by Lladró and took almost 800 hours to perfect it. The statue self is finished with white porcelain with touches of glaze animals and golden luster. The statue is also decorated with Star Wars Queen Amidala signature colors and it showcases her in her ceremonial robes. The statue itself is handcrafted in Spain so you're getting it packed with detail. While the face isn't as detailed as you think it is made of porcelain but the rest of the outfit is detailed with a multitude of different materials and fine-tuned to perfection. This isn't a normal collectible but one that can be considered very high class if you're a fan of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace or fans of Lladró And I would act now as there is a very limited supply.

Star Wars Queen Amidala in the Throne Room Figurine by Lladro is estimated to ship between January 2020 and February 2020. She will be priced at a whopping $3900, and she is only limited to 1000 pieces so you better act fast before it's too late. Pre-orders are live and you can find them located here. Don't forget to check out all the other amazing statues coming soon from Sideshow Collectibles.

"I was not elected to watch my people suffer and die while you discuss this invasion in a committee!"

Sideshow and Lladró present the Queen Amidala in Throne Room Figurine!

"The most important challenge when it came to making this piece was the meticulous care lavished on the details, the ornamentation of the costume and the headdress, in order to guarantee that they would be as faithful as possible. This was particularly true for the facial expression. Given that the overall pose is static, in order to convey Amidala's personality all the strength had to be captured in the face, so special attention was paid to the gaze. She is one of the most highly defined female characters and to whom most interesting things happen. In this first work she is depicted as a queen in the highest degree, so her expression has to be regal.

However, she is 15 years of age, her world is under siege and cut off from the rest of the galaxy by the Trade Federation, it is about to be militarily invaded and the Jedi who the Chancellor supposedly sent to negotiate have disappeared. Almost 800 hours of work in the brand's various departments which cooperated in the creation went into ensuring the fantastic end result of this piece."

Finished in white matte porcelain with touches of glaze, enamels and golden luster, the piece is decorated with the character's signature colors. It depicts Queen Amidala in ceremonial robes, celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Phantom Menace. The piece premiered at the Comic-Con International 2019 in San Diego. Perfect for collectors of fantasy characters and fans of Star Wars. Handcrafted in Spain.
