Simon Bisley Draws the Salty Dogs Card Game – and His Original Artwork is Up For Sale

Salty Dogs is a new pirate-based card game being crowdfunded on Kickstarter. But what really sets this apart – and why I am writing about it on Bleeding Cool – is that the artwork for the cards, the board, the packaging, has been drawn by Simon Bisley and then painted by Andy Brown.

And, as well as the usual Kickstarter donation levels, there are also plenty of opportunities to buy the original pen drawn and painted artwork from the project.

Okay, let's zoom in…

Can be bought, for a very reasonable £500.

Or if that's too much – how about individual characters, original artwork, for £160 each. And the whole game as well. A number have gone, A number have not.

You can read more about the game here. I would recommend if you are interested in this, you run, don't walk. Especially not off a plank. Ho ho ho…
