Super Power Punch Relay Race!!
Alejandro Rosado writes,
The story of Power Punch Boot Camp VS Element 6 goes like this. Power Punch Boot Camp is a camp for young super heroes in training which opens it's campgrounds to outside powered children from around the world who so happen to be the Element 6. This group of elemental heroes were picked by a wacky malfunction by the robot named HELP-O who plays a very important part of the crossover story! Upon arrival are warm greetings and the adventures begin with a friendly competition of relay games full of laughs, humor and a shared love for pancakes. The teams go head-to-head in games such as the relay race, tug of war, a spoon and egg race, kick ball and of course a Pancake eating challenge. There is also an epic dance battle!
Like most superhero stories, which feature at least one villain who shows up to causes trouble, our troublesome terror is a returning villain from the first Power Punch Boot Camp story Professor Pain! His only aim is to break out of prison to cause trouble at the campground where he once taught. This time, he needs the help from his inventions.
The two superhero teams must put their competitive divide aside to form a group powerful enough to take down Professor Pain.
The book is a 50 page story written and illustrated by the Power Punch Boot Camp artist (ALEROART) Alejandro Rosado (Puerto Rican Strong, The Element Factor & Aw Yeah Comics) with awesome edits by Ellie Egleton (Power Punch Boot Camp 1 & 2)
We hope to successfully fund our project as we did our first 2018 Kickstarter . Following this, the second Power Punch Boot Camp Book book will launch next year. For this book, the concept of opening up the campground to feature the cast of both Ellie and Alejandro's comics made perfect sense to create and it sure it a lot of fun. All 50 pages are illustrated and the last few pages are being coloured. Added bonus of the book include a sneak peak into our next book and guest pin-ups by awesome cartoonist in the comic community. We have a growing response from fans and so Kickstarting theproject a year after our first felt right, we know we needed to continue creating.
We are both excited about the growing support of our comic from around across the globe, with Ellie in Shepperton, UK and Alejandro in Chicago. It's a great comic relationship. Both are comic book fans and both enjoy creating fun comic book characters and stories. We are also both teachers and so we understand the importance of creating new books for children to enjoy.
