WWE: Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey Feud Gets Too "Real"

While we're used to seeing WWE escalate in the ring, Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey intensified their rivalry over Twitter.

WWE gave Lynch the role of unruly employee who became the unexpected star only for the company to "try" to keep her down. If that sounds familiar, they did it with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and CM Punk.

The Authority in Stephanie McMahon and HHH act as the corporate force trying to keep Lynch down. As soon as Lynch complied to see a doctor about her injured knee, Vince McMahon comes out and delivers the hammer to suspend Lynch to last through WrestleMania.

Now "banned," Lynch sneaks through the crowd and attacks her replacement in the WWE Raw Women's Championship match at WrestleMania, Charlotte Flair every chance she gets and also gets her shots at Rousey. Like Austin, Lynch was arrested by Atlanta's "Finest."

Enraged, Rousey demanded Stephanie reinstate Lynch to the championship match. Much to her chagrin, she responded that she's powerless and can't make that happen. Rousey dumped the title in the middle of the ring in frustration before leaving.

Following the show, Lynch posted her "mugshot" on Twitter.

Ronda, you go back and get that BELT because I didn't come this far to collect it from Stephanie. I came all this way to take it from you.

Rousey decided to rather keep within character, break kayfabe (wrestling 4th wall) and call out Lynch's staged prison photos.

That's what I'm trying to do dumbass. You hobbling around trying to be a ginger crutch ninja and taking fake prison photos in the hallway isn't helping

Lynch responding trying to offer professional "advice" to the former MMA star while photoshopping Rousey's face on James Franco's body as Tommy Wiseau in The Disaster Artist.

Keep that F word out of your mouth and concentrate on getting better at this business instead of trying to remain above it. Looking forward to seeing you real soon.

Rousey went a step further and mocked one of Lynch's finishers, the Dis-arm-her (Fujiwara Armbar).

F word? You mean "fake"? Fake like your non sensical BS "armbar" that doesn't even work and just looks like you're holding the dick you wish you had?

Lynch responded and photoshopped Travis Browne head over her victim's hand.

Huh, it *does* look exactly like one now that you mention it.

Rousey got the last word (for now) calling Lynch out by her real name, Rebecca Quin and threatened her one more time.

Rebecca Quin, I don't care what the script says, I'm beating the living shit out of you the next time I see you.

While it's a little refreshing to see Rousey's primal rage come out in tweets, the exchange only makes Lynch right about her needing to learn the business. Rousey clearly became unhinged and none of the exchange looks at all scripted or planned. The "raw" exchange shows how much of a rookie Rousey still is.

She's pushed to the top, but it's obvious it's due to her name recognition as the top female UFC star. It fits WWE's narrative as the "company" champion and Lynch toys with her mercilessly even before this latest exchange.

The only other exchange I remember even worse between two wrestlers between Punk and Diesel. The seasoned vet in Kevin Nash was out of Punk's league on the mic. Embarrassing to say the least.

Many got behind Rousey in the UFC, because she dominated opponents like Iron Mike Tyson did earlier in his boxing career. When she transitioned to WWE, she has the moves down, but unlike UFC, professional wrestling requires more coordination more than anything beyond the physical. You build yourself and your opponent. It's one big family trying to prop each other up.

Rousey needs to realize she needs to be a team player or she may not last as long as you think. Someone like Paul Heyman would exponentially help her as he helped Brock Lesnar. Lesnar is a beast who doesn't need to say a word, but at least can be a consummate professional.

Rousey's tweets don't work in the PG era and goes to the core of why she's not getting the reactions she should be. She's not organically winning the crowd. Here's hoping WWE does the right thing and have Lynch win, because Rousey looks flustered, which is far worse when you're trying to intimidate.
