Watch the Cast of Brooklyn Nine-Nine React to Getting Renewed for a 7th Season

Yesterday, we got word that NBC decided to pick up Brooklyn Nine-Nine for a seventh season. The show, which was canceled by Fox and saved by NBC within about 30 hours, is one of the best on TV and it already seems like NBC is doing a better job of promoting the show than Fox ever did. For example, NBC decided to video them announcing to the cast and crew that they were renewed and posted it on the official twitter account.

If this is what it looks like when they announce a pickup they should be recording these all of the time because this is adorable. Terry Crews throwing the papers, Stephanie Beatz and Meliessa Fumero hugging, and Andre Braugher clapping like it would be disrespectful to do anything more.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Jake Peralta, an immature, but talented N.Y.P.D. detective in Brooklyn's 99th Precinct, comes into immediate conflict with his new commanding officer, the serious and stern Captain Ray Holt.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine stars Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Stephanie Beatriz, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, Chelsea Peretti, Dirk Blocker, and Joel McKinnon Miller. New episodes air on Thursdays at 9/8c on NBC.
