It was teased on the back cover of DC Rebirth. Before that, it has already been leaked that it would return as a series (though that was delayed rather by new plans). And it has been expected in DC's unauthorised sequel to Watchmen, Doomsday Clock, by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank alongside the Legion of Super-Heroes and Shazam.

And while Doomsday Clock #9 and #10 are rather delayed right now, Gary did make up for it by showing off a splash page in Doomsday Clock #10, featuring the Justice Society Of America.
