Planet Comicon runs in Kansas City on Friday, 29th of March to Sunday 31st. And it is getting its own retailer exclusive variant cover of Detective Comics #1000, out the previous Tuesday/Wednesday. Drawn by the current Detective Comics artist Doug Mahnke, it is the only one of the covers to feature the Arkham Knight from the games, who Doug re-designed for DC Universe continuity, and who debuts in the issue in question.
The trade dress cover is limited to 2500 and available at Planet Comicon.
The ‘virgin’ cover is Doug Mahnke’s own tour book debuting at Planet Comicon and only available at his limited convention appearances this year.
Only a month and change away…
