Multiverse Comics of Texas is Closed (Ish) – But Will Reopen if They Still See Their Customers Every Week

There’s a lot of Texan comic store news today it seems. We just checked in with Austin Books & Comics closing their Sidekick store, and now we get the news that Multiverse Comics, Collectibles, & Games of Hurst, Texas has closed – but will reopen somewhere else sometime later this year.

Until then, they are still receiving comics and providing subscription services for customers from a residential address in Richmond Hills – but you have to call ahead. They are also giving regular customers 25% off in the interim. They have a couple of recent videos, asking to see customers every week, so they can keep going – ‘it’s a crucial time, it’s a delicate time’

And you can watch them pull subs (still) right here…

Bleeding Cool tries to mark the passing of comics stores as well as their opening. Existing fanbases are likely to make the former more well known, but please let us know if a comic store is opening or closing in your neighbourhood. Just e-mail
