Riverdale Season 3, Episode 8 Preview: "Outbreak"

Riverdale's mid-season finale airs this Wednesday, and it loos like it is going to be pretty bat%$!# insane. Mass seizures cause the closure of Riverdale High, Cheryl Blossom is declaring war, Betty is holding people hostage at the Sisters of Mercy, Veronica is getting even more threats from Hiram of the biblical variety, and Archie and Jughead go to stay with Jellybean and Jughaed's mom (guest stars Gina Gershon and Trinity Likins).  Will we get at least a fake-out reveal of who the Gargoyle King is? Will anyone else die? Things are not looking good for Ethel in the below promo. How far will Betty go to get her answers? Will Jughead get his mother and Jellybean to come back to Riverdale?

CHeck out the promo and synopsis from the episode below, along with some pics as well.

On the road and running out of places to stay, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) and Archie (KJ Apa) head to Toledo to visit Jughead's mother Gladys (guest star Gina Gershon) and sister Jellybean (guest star Trinity Likins). Back in Riverdale, Betty (Lili Reinhart) inches closer to uncovering the truth about Griffins & Gargoyles, while Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) take on Hiram (Mark Consuelos), Hermoine (Marisol Nichols) and Penelope (guest star Nathalie Boltt) after more students fall victim to seizures.
