Godzilla: King of the Monsters – Monarch Sciences Teases Rodan Plus More "Sightings"

The viral marketing for Godzilla: King of the Monsters continues to be one of the best we've seen in a while. The Monarch Sciences website is getting updated quite often now with more "sighting" of monster activity all over the world. We're due for a new trailer this weekend so it's not surprising we a very short video teasing Rodan today.

Yesterday, we got a sighting off the coast of Brazil. The Godzilla tracker on the site has been down since the 2nd.

This one is interesting. It's right near a Monarch station in Scottland but that shadow looks a lot like Ghidorah who is supposed to be frozen in the ice in Anartica.

Time for another one that doesn't make a lot of sense. There is an outpost in central Europe near this sighting but that looks a lot like Rodan but he's supposed to be inside a Volcano in Mexico.

Time for another Godzilla sighting. On November 30th the official twitter account of Monarch Sciences updated that "MONARCH ALERT: TITANUS GOJIRA LAST SEEN APPROACHING TOKYO" right before the Tokyo Comic-Con presentation where we saw new footage. This evidence was posted right before that alert and that looks a lot like Godzilla's back. Godzilla turned tail and headed south after the presentation only for the tracker to go offline on the 2nd.

Have you been following the Godzilla: King of the Monsters viral marketing? It's certainly different which is always fun. We can expect to see that new trailer on Sunday.

Summary: The next chapter in Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' cinematic MonsterVerse: an epic action-adventure that pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters, directed by Michael Dougherty, stars Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Kyle Chandler, and Thomas Middleditch.

It's gonna roar into theaters on May 31st, 2019.
