San Diego Comic-Con Museum Seeks Charter Memberships
The soon-to-open Comic-Con Museum in San Diego is seeking comic book fans to become charter members of the new institution as part of #GivingTuesday.
Here are the levels of benefit they are offering:
The Charter Membership Program provides various Tiers of exclusive perks and benefits. Whatever level suits you, everyone will have the bragging rights associated with being one of the earliest supporters of the Museum! Read on to learn more about other rewards. Memberships may be upgraded to a higher tier at any time and previous contributions will be counted towards the cost of the next tier.
TIER ONE – PAY WHAT YOU WANT (minimum $10)
Tier One Membership is an affordable starting place, bringing some popular benefits at our lowest price: your price.
• You'll be entered on the Honor Roll of Charter Members, an immortal listing of everyone that becomes part of the Museum's origin story.
• Entry to a private Facebook group where you will have a unique opportunity to participate in creating the Museum. Vote for exhibits, programs and other content ideas, give feedback on design proposals, and help find art and artifacts for display.
• Exclusive, virtual access to live streamed programming from the Museum, including panel discussions, talks, and creative classes.
• Stay informed about the project and be the first to hear about special exhibits, programs, and priority opportunities for members with a subscription to our monthly e-newsletter, Museum Insider.
TIER TWO – $50
Tier Two Members receive all the benefits of Tier One Membership, free admission to the Comic-Con Museum for one-year after opening, plus:
• Look the part with exclusive Comic-Con Museum merchandise. Grab your Comic-Con Museum Charter Member lanyard and pin as a thank you for joining our ranks.
• Participate in Members-only events, meet-ups, and activities throughout the year including tickets and merchandise.
• And for one year after the Museum has opened:
• Unlimited regular admission for one to Comic-Con Museum.
• Bring your friends! Two single-use guest passes for regular admission to the Museum.
• Collectible Charter Member membership card.
• A 10% discount in the Museum store onsite and online.
TIER THREE – $100
Charter Members in Tier Three experience all the benefits of Tiers One and Two, an exclusive first-edition Members-only T-shirt, plus:
• For one year after the Museum has opened:
• Bring more friends! Four single-use guest passes for regular admission to the Museum.
• Free admission and other benefits at 900+ participating arts, cultural, and historical institutions that are part of the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association.
TIER FOUR – $500 (EXCLUSIVE PACKAGE)
Tier Four Members receive all the benefits of Tiers One, Two and Three, plus:
• A limited-edition Mondo print from 2018's San Diego Comic-Con, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Signed by the artist Matt Taylor, your print will be randomly selected from the limited-edition series of 1,000. Available while supplies last.
• And for one-year after the Museum has opened:
• Bring even more friends! Eight single-use guest passes for regular admission to the Museum.
TIER FIVE – $1,200+
Tier Five Charter Membership is for supporters interested in establishing a deeper connection with the Museum. At this Tier, Charter Members enjoy all the core benefits of Tiers One through Four, plus:
• Priority invites to exclusive social and educational events throughout the year including:
• Groundbreaking of the Museum;
• Comic-Con Museum's Inaugural Gala in 2019;
• Museum Opening celebrations; and
• Annual Membership Gathering event during San Diego Comic-Con.
• Permanent name recognition inside the Comic-Con Museum.
• And for one-year after the Museum has opened:
• Ten single-use guest passes for regular admission to the Museum.
