Nicalis Would Like to Create an 8-Bit TMNT Video Game

The folks over at Nicalis gave an idea of a new game they'd like to make as an 8-bit retro title, and they set their sights on TMNT! The company sent out a tweet this week that got a lot of people excited, as they showed off some artwork for a "what if" scenario, if they ever got a chance to do a game for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. And by the look of the artwork here, yeah, we'd play the hell out of that game.

Now, granted, this is totally hypothetical. Nicalis doesn't have the rights to do a TMNT game. But hey, if someone at Nickelodeon is reading this article… again, we would play the hell out of this! If you're not familiar with Nicalis, they're the team responsible for Cave Story+ and 1001 Spikes, both of which became indie hits.
