Preview: Zoe Quinn and Robbi Rodriguez' Goddess Mode

Video game designer and Hugo Award winner Zoe Quinn may be better known as the original source of harassment and abuse of what would be called Gamergate. Comic book writer/artist and co-creator of Spider-Gwen Robbi Rodriguez was an early target of what has been called Comicsgate, after he showed his bottom to Ethan Van Sciver. Together, they fight crime.

Sorry, I mean, they create a new comic book.

Goddess Mode, launching from DC/Vertigo tomorrow. A future sci-fi world in which technology controls everything and access to that technology is controlled. Aside from those who sidestep the system, get caught, get swallowed back up by the system and get used for the system's own purposes.

From this preview below, it's a little bit Transmet, a little bit Prez, and a good chunk of Black Mirror, before it goes into… very different territory indeed. I'm sure certain people will hate it, sight unseen, some people will love it sight unseen, but from these few preview pages, it looks like there's a lot to like.
