Legends of Tomorrow Season 4: Series Low Debut and Dominic Purcell Trashes Season 1

The Legends are off to a rough start. The DCTV show had its season four premiere, featuring a human heart eating unicorn that was slaughtering hippies at Woodstock because why not, didn’t do so well in the ratings. According to TV Line the debut with just over a million viewers and 0.3 demo rating. That isn’t horrible but it is down from the previous season and a series low. Now this could be because the CW did a major schedule shift and people are still trying to figure out where this show fits into their schedule.

Legends of Tomorrow has always been the oddball of the DCTV shows and it didn’t start out particularly strong but got better in its second season. It turns out we aren’t the only ones who think so since star Dominic Purcell, who plays Mick Rory aka Heat Wave, took to instagram last month to essentially trash the first season of the show.

Summary: Time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter has to recruit a rag-tag team of heroes and villains to help prevent an apocalypse that could impact not only Earth, but all of time.

Legends of Tomorrow, created by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Phil Klemmer, stars Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Jes Macallan, Matt Ryan, and Courtney Ford. It will air on the CW at 8:00pm/9:00pm est on Mondays.
