Zenscope's Journey to MCM Via London's Comic Shops

This weekend sees MCM London Comic Con, by far the largest comic convention in the UK. American publisher Zenescope has made the trip over again, but this year they have come a few days early and are using the time to take a tour of London and surrounding regions via its various comic book stores, making appearances in a number of them. Mega City Comics, A Place In Space, Orbital Comics and Limited Edition.

Zenescope's appeal has always been a curious and possible counter-intuitive one, and while it's never generally been to my taste, the audience for their comics at shows is heavily female and very committed. Zenescope does not have a significant presence in London comic book stores, however, this may be an attempt to turn that around a little… and hopefully set up their appearance at MCM London Comic Con at the weekend with a little force.

John the Baptist, paving the way….
