Louise Simonson, Cat Staggs Re-Adapt ‘Death Of Superman’ Back Into Comics, Published Today

DC Comics has surprise-published a new digital comic series written by one of the writers of the original Death Of Superman storyline from 1992, recently adapted as a direct-to-video animated movie – and now being re-adapted back into comics.

With art from Cat Staggs and Wendy Broome, Death Of Superman #1 is available digitally now, on Kindle, ComiXology and the DC App.

It is intended to expand and follow-up on the movie. The first issue is out today, issue 2 next week. A print collection is planned for next year.

The Death of Superman was one of the biggest moment in the history of comics. Revisit the story that rocked the entired world with the last stand of Earth’s mightiest champion in this thrilling brand new mini series!
