Frazer Irving to Draw Gary Spencer Millidge's Strangehaven

British comic book artist and writer Frazer Irving is to collaborate with Gary Spencer Millidge on a new Strangehaven story together. It's a bromance long in the telling.

The comic that is often described as The Prisoner and Twin Peaks meets The Archers is currently serialised in the anthology comic Meanwhile… published by Soaring Penguin Press.

And in its ninth issue, we get the first time someone other than Millidge has created an issue. Soaring Penguin Press says 'Having other creators play in the Strangehaven sandbox has always part of Gary's game plan. We're just moving the plan up a bit, to give Gary a bit of time to get things done.'

The issue will also have the second part of The Needleman by Martin Simpson, the penultimate episode of David Hine and Mark Stafford's The Bad Bad Place, new episodes of The Collector by Sarah Gordon, and Ginny Skinner's Gail Key's Psychic Lost Items Helpline

Meanwhile… #9 will be solicited in September 2018 Previews, and distributed by Diamond to stores in November, but the publisher intends to have it out in direct-distributed stores in September, in time for the Thought Bubble show in Leeds.
