romanoffs teaser amazon cast

After months of casting announcements and as much drama behind the scenes as in front of the camera, Amazon Prime Video has released the first official teaser for The Romanoffs, a contemporary anthology series created, written, directed, and executive produced by Emmy award winner Matthew Weiner (Mad Men). Set to premiere on the streaming service on Friday, October 12, the creative team behind The Romanoffs include executive producer-writer Semi Chellas; co-executive producers Kriss Turner Towner, Blake McCormick, and Kathy Ciric; and consulting producers-writers Andre Jacquemetton and Maria Jacquemetton.

Set to explore people who believe themselves to be descendants of the murdered Russian royal family, The Romanoffs stars Diane Lane, Aaron Eckhart, Isabelle Huppert, Marthe Keller, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Jack Huston, Amanda Peet, Corey Stoll, Andrew Rannells, Mike Doyle, JJ Feild, Janet Montgomery, and Paul Reiser. Shot on location in three continents and seven countries, the series will venture to Europe, the Americas, and the Far East; with each story taking place in a new location with a new cast.

Here’s a look at the official teaser trailer from Amazon Prime Video; as well as a list of previously unannounced guest stars on the upcoming series – in case you missed the names in the annoyingly image-free teaser below:

Ferguson (Mad Men); Ben Miles (Collateral); Mary Kay Place (Big Love); Griffin Dunne (Imposters); Cara Buono (Mad Men); Ron Livingston (The Conjuring); Jon Tenney (Hand of God); Clea DuVall (Veep); Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill); Hugh Skinner (Mamma Mia!
