Masters of the Universe 1/6 Scale Figures Coming from Mondo

Masters of the Universe is everywhere as of late. The Toys That Made Us episode of the show was a huge hit, and it has really reinvigorated interest in both the series as a whole — and, most importantly, toys. Super7 is firing on all cylinders with their offerings, and now Mondo is getting in on the action with a new line of 1/6 scale figures. This is a scale that if done properly could become one of the coolest Masters of the Universe lines of all time.

Masters of the Universe He-Man 1:6 Scale Figure

Naturally He-Man and Skeletor will kick things off. The figures look to be highly detailed and come with all of the accessories you would expect a Masters of the Universe figure to come with. He-Man looks to come with an axe, his shield, and the Power Sword. The way his hair sits on top of his head looks to sit a little weird, but other than that we look to be in good shape here.

Masters of the Universe 1:6 Scale Skeletor Mondo Figure

Next is the Skeletor, which in most collectors eyes will make or break the line. The skull looks a little narrow and the hood needs some work, but other than that it looks to me like they nailed it. His Havoc Staff looks dynamite, the blue hue of his skin is perfect, and both of these look like they will be fun to get in our hands an have a posing party.

Also teased was a Mer-Man figure, which personally will be a must-buy. Both of these will be on display at their booth at SDCC this week. We will get some more detailed looks for you from there.

Which 1/6 scale Masters of the Universe figures would you like to see made? Which characters are must-buys in that scale? Let us know what you think about this line in the down below.
