Rocky Balboa Takes Center Stage in New 'Creed II' Poster
Warner Bros. is gearing up to bring the Rocky universe back with Creed II this Thanksgiving.
It's a bit too early to focus a ton of time on promoting this movie, but they have released a poster and a trailer to tease the production. The first movie was a hit that earned some award nominations and deserved all of the critical praise that it was given back in 2015. It's taken a little while for the second entry in this series to make it to the big screen, but it should be on your list of must-see movies this fall. The official Twitter account shared a new poster today, this time featuring the one and only Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa.
This type of poster set-up screams character posters, so it wouldn't be that surprising if we see some more drop featuring most of the main cast before that release date.
Summary: Under the tutelage of Rocky Balboa, newly crowned light-heavyweight champion Adonis Creed faces off against Viktor Drago, the son of Ivan Drago.
Creed II, directed by Steven Caple Jr., stars Michael B. Jordan, Tessa Thompson, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, and Florian Munteanu. It will be released November 21st.
