This is the newly revealed cover dress for the new Catwoman first issue by Joelle Jones. And it throws doubt into what may be happening in Batman #50. And yes, we’ve just been through that with X-Men Gold #30, it’s the usual Marvel/DC continuity convergence again.
But Catwoman #1 is set after Batman #50 and, as she says, the issue will spoil the contents of Batman #50 published on the same day, or at midnight, depending on your store’s participation in the Marvel/DC Midnight launches on the evening of July 3rd.
And this is DC Comics’ first suggestion that maybe, just maybe, it may not go ahead. But it’s something that reading Tom King’s run on Batman seemed to jump out at me.
