Gerard Way Returns to Marvel Comics for Spider-Geddon

You can't have an event without a pre-event. Marvel has already teased Spider-Geddon. Now we get a Pre-Spider-Geddon event called Edge of Spider-Geddon. You know, like they did with Edge of Spider-Verse and Edge of Venomverse?

And we also get a return to those Spider-Verse folk. Specifically Spider-Punk from the Web Warriors — and someone who hasn't been seen in a long time, the Gerard Way and Jack Wyatt-created character SP//dr.

And being written by Gerard Way, alongside Zac Thompson and Lonnie Nadler, with Jake Wyatt returning too.

Way has recently been writing for Young Animal at DC Comics but the line is pausing with final issues in August.

Could there be more SP//dr to come?

Man, it's like Dan Slott never left…
