The mature readers DC Comics imprint that Bleeding Cool first reported on back in February, Black Label, was announced as making its publishing debut with the Superman: Year One saga from Frank Miller and John Romita.

The three-part prestige series was announced as hitting shelves August 2018.

It was a very quiet hit then. One that hasn’t appeared in the DC solicits for August — almost as if it isn’t there. Especially as it was intended to launch the new label in August.

Yup, it’s late. Already. Still, at least Miller’s 300 prequel is coming out from Dark Horse now… and Romita is busy with more Kick-Ass
