Teen Titans Go! to the Movies Sees Deadpool 2’s Céline Dion and Raises a Michael Bolton

Earlier this month 20th Century Fox shared that they had teamed up with the legendary Céline Dion to give Deadpool 2 an original power ballad like it’s 1998. It’s a pretty fantastic song overall, and the video ends with a killer joke as well.

While Deadpool 2 has Fox making fun of the superhero genre that doesn’t mean that Warner Bros. and Teen Titans Go! to the Movies are to be outdone. They decided to bring in Michael Bolton to do a song for them. It’s fantastic and if this becomes a marketing feud or a game of one-upmanship, I’m so into it.

Summary: A villain’s maniacal plan for world domination sidetracks five teenage superheroes who dream of Hollywood stardom.

Teen Titans Go! To the Movies, directed by Aaron Horvath and Peter Rida Michail, stars Scott Menville, Tara Strong, Khary Payton, Greg Cipes, Hynden Watch, Kristen Bell, and Will Arnett. It will be released on July 27th.
