nerdpocalypse

If you’re looking for something to do April 14th and are near the Baltimore area, why not check out Transcendent Events’ Nerdpocalypse at Power Plant Live? Kevin Hock is putting on one of the biggest nerd parties ever, and he’s going out of his way to make sure it’s an inclusive, safe, and fun environment for all who come! I’ve been to a few Nerd Parties in the past, but this is by far his most ambitious yet. Here’s just a sample of what’s in store for the day:

* Come Casual or in Cosplay!
* Every Bar Themed Differently with Specialty Drinks
Thetardisphotobooth w/ Photos Included
* The Riddler’s Epic Scavenger Hunt
* 2016 GB Ecto 1 on Display
* Doc. Who Trivia
* Sorting Hat Ceremony
* Heroes vs Villains Beerfest Showdown
* Exclusive Drink Specials
* Interstellar Karaoke
* Costume Contest
* Wrestling Trivia
* Frozen in Carbonite Photo Opp
* Life of a Cosplayer Panel
* Dance-off
* Wrestling Promo Contest
* Commemorative Beer Mug Included
* Free Pizza Party with live music from Cowabunga Pizza Time (Sewer surfin’, pizza scarfing, denim clad rock n roll ninjas spin kicking their way through bad guys and into your heart!).
Thrillkiller (Oozing with ’80s tech noir aesthetic, TK are also known for devastatingly rad covers of various nerd culture songs, hop in your DeLorean and buckle up for a wild ride.)

As you can see, there’s a lot to do. Check out these incredible photos by Ian Bell from past parties to get a taste of what’s to come! See you there!

About Veronica Webb

Veronica Webb is a self professed comic book nerd, with a strong focus on Archie and Golden Age comics. She also enjoys Disney World more than the average person, and bad movies. Speed Racer is one of her favorite movies. Seriously.
